Concert of Colors — July 15–19

Detroit’s largest FREE global music festival returns for its 35th year. Five days of international music, food trucks, vendors, and art spread across iconic Detroit cultural venues including the DIA and Detroit Historical Museum. Totally free — no excuses not to go.

Motor City Irish Fest — June 12–14

Three days of Irish-inspired music, whiskey tastings, Irish food and retail at Greenmead Historical Park in Livonia. Great for groups who want something a little different this summer.

Michigan Summer Beer Festival — June 13

Hundreds of Michigan beers at Riverside Park in Ypsilanti. Michigan’s finest breweries, live local music, and food. If your crew loves craft beer, this is the move.

Detroit Pride Festival — June

One of the city’s most vibrant and beloved annual celebrations. A full weekend of performances, vendors, and community energy in the heart of Detroit.

Taylor Summer Festival — June 25–28

Chase Rice and more headliners take the stage at Heritage Park alongside a carnival, fireworks, and food. Great kickoff to the summer stretch.

Royal Oak Taco Fest — July 2–5

50+ taquerias, margaritas, a kids’ area, and five stages of live entertainment in Downtown Royal Oak. One of the metro’s most popular summer festivals — come hungry.

Concert of Colors — July 15–19

Five nights of free global music at the DIA and Detroit Historical Museum. Detroit’s most beloved music festival and it’s completely free.

Light Up Livernois Festival — July 11

300+ merchants, live comedy, art galleries, and local food along the Avenue of Fashion. A celebration of Detroit’s creative and cultural community.

Detroit Festival of Books — July 19

Used books, rare finds, vinyl records, comic books, vintage board games, artwork, and more at Eastern Market. Detroit’s ninth annual book fest is a gem.
